Creating creatures from trees in the park

I walked to a nearby park to find inspiration for my first blog entry. From looking at trees, I found these characters in branches and bark. I only found heads, it was hard to imagine the bodies of the characters. It is something that i want to develop further. Shading was used to show depth in these drawings. My first attempt at drawing creatures from nature was better than expected.
